Melinda is a Registered Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. She focuses on the mental health concerns that are most often minimized or misunderstood; particularly ADHD in adults, the mental health impact of perimenopause and menopause, anxiety, burnout, and sleep difficulties.
She holds advanced certifications in adult ADHD (ADHD-CCSP) and menopause mental health (MMHCP), specialized CBTi training, and a Level 2 certificate in CBT for Reproductive Mental Health. She also has lived experience with ADHD that gives her lived experience in addition to her extensive training in the area.
Melinda’s approach is warm, practical, and genuinely conversational. Therapy with her tends to feel like a real conversation guided by real clinical insight. Sessions are paced to your actual capacity, not an idealized version of what you could manage if everything else were easier.
Melinda provides virtual therapy across Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, Alberta, Yukon, and Nunavut.
